Serial Port Device

Ok, here is an easy one...I'm trying to hook up a DECServer 700 to my
AlphaServer 4000. Anyway, I want to see the debug messages the DS700
is pumping out so I decided to hook it up via the serial port on my AS.
I figure I could simply use cu to connect to the device. What device
file do I use, and what's and easier way to find this sort of information
out? Plus, is there anything I should know about cu?
