I have an AlphaStation 250 4/266 running Digital UNIX V4.0C which has been
running successfully for a long time. Now, when it boots, it would be
appriciated. Thanks.
o On boot-up, the initial hardware testing, and loading of the UNIX bootstarp
appears okay. Then the two (2) following messages appear:
DDR: Invalid Database Header
DDR: Unable to access Device Information Table for Globals
o A little later in the boot-up, the following messages appear for each SCSI
device.
DDR: Invalid Database Header
Error accessing DDR database - "default" used for SCSI device
Vendor ID: DEC Product ID: RZ26L
o When I halt UNIX and enter the SRM console, I ran the ISA Configuration
Utility. Although the information appears correct, the display is corrupted
with junk characters and some of the help messages are obliterated.
o Also while in the SRM console, if I do a SHOW MAP, all addresses (which are
automatically generated) are marked as "out of range".
Any thoughts would be of help. Thanks in advace.
