Thank You MANAGERS:
My question is attached below and the solution/enlightenment for this was
achieved in a lightening speed of 10 min from the wonderful people who
share their expertise.
"The root partition should have a recommended 128mb and not the
64mb default for a DU 4.0 to accomodate all the necessary files".
Problem solved!!!
Thanks.
Aravind.

Subject: fullroot partition?
Hi Managers,
I was installing a testing server of DU 4.0c on a 2.1G(RZ28D) hard
drive and gave it the default root(/) partion of 126334(512 blocks,rz0a)
and the /usr with 1732204(512 blocks,rz0g).Everything went well but the /
partition is filled up to 98%. There must be something wrong. Was the
allocated space too less or is there something that can be done to bring
it down to a lesser value?? Depending on ur expertise...
Thanking u all in advance.
Truly,
Aravind.Mallipudi.
