I have a Pro/Engineer process that fails when it approaches 1 GB size (as
reported by 'top') on 2 different Personal Workstations. Configuration
as follows:
PW 433 DU 4.0C
768 MB RAM
1600 MB swap (2 swap spaces of 800 MB)
sysconfigtab entries:
 vm-mapentries = 1000000
 vm-maxvas = 1610612736
 per-proc-data-size = 268435456
 per-proc-stack-size = 4194304
 max-per-proc-stack-size = 48000000
 max-per-proc-address-space = 1610612736

The Pro/E application reports a "Memory error" in the application message
window. I have not seen any Digital Unix system/error messages.

Has anybody seen a similar problem with 1 GB processes and/or are you
aware of O/S configuration parameters that might be the limiting factor
(or errors on the above)?

Thanks,
