Thank-you all for the fast response to my query. The universal response was to
use the program "/usr/sbin/uerf [options]". Many of use also suggested using
the program "dia" (not to be confused with the sevice DIA) which comes with
DECevent. DECevent is a free tool that can be found at
        http://www.sercice.digital.com/decevent/
It is available for Digital UNIX, OpenVMS, and Windows/NT (Alpha). I am
currently exploring this tool. Again, thank-you all.

Hi All,

I am attempting to diagnois some hardware errors on my system and have been
searching for the various error logs. I found the binary file
/usr/var/adm/binary.errlog that may contain some relative messages.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any man pages related to this
system log file. Can anybody tell me how to decode this file or other places
to look for hardware error messages? I have also checked the syslog files as
well. Thanks.
