After upgrade from Digital Unix 3.2C to 4.0B (and 4.0D) on two Alphaserver
2100, we experienced some problems with our secondary swap area, which is
under LSM. It looks like it's not in use (see below "Available space").
Anyone else seen this?? No problems when we were running 3.2C.
# swapon -s
Swap partition /dev/rz1b (default swap):
Allocated space: 25088 pages (196MB)
In-use space: 17672 pages ( 70%)
Free space: 7416 pages ( 29%)
Swap partition /dev/vol/rootdg/swapvol1:
Allocated space: 64000 pages (500MB)
In-use space: 17967 pages ( 28%)
Free space: 46033 pages ( 71%)
Total swap allocation:
Allocated space: 89088 pages (696MB)
Reserved space: 82082 pages ( 92%)
In-use space: 35639 pages ( 40%)
Available space: 7006 pages ( 7%)
