hello unix people

I am at present looking to update our backup strategy. Does anybody know a rough estimate for a data tape changer.
at present we are writing to data tape from two servers and another external data drive hanging off a workstation.
This only allows 12G + 4G + 2G on 4mm data tapes ranging from 90m to 125m. Ufortunately we are about 40G shy of being able to do a full backup everynight
(most of the disks have a good bit of free space).
I was thinking of maybe getting another 12G data tape as a tempory measure but im sure in the future a more expensive backup system will have to be put in

Can anyone give me more info please
the servers are Alpha 2100 and 1200 running DECunix 3.2g and 4.0b

thanking you in advance

Darrell King
