Dear Gurus,

My question was: Could you point to a good color inkjet (not laser)
printer with postscript and Ethernet capabilities that I could use with
my DU box, and do you still have problems with DU and the HP JetDirect
cards?

I got useful answers from:
       Stan Horwitz <stan_at_thunder.ocis.temple.edu>
       H. Scherrer <hs_at_idefix.mpipks-dresden.mpg.de>
       Seth Hall <SETH_at_speech.mit.edu>
       Herve Choplin <choplin_at_delphi.phys.univ-tours.fr>

1) H. Scherrer suggested buying rather a solid ink printer (eg from
   Tektronix) that are more robust.
2) He added that he had no problem with the JetDirect cards, .....
while Seth Hall complained about "enormous trouble" with them.
He suggested buying rather XCD XJet IV-Plus cards manufactured
by XCD (which I did not know...).
3) Both Stan Horwitz and Herve Choplin pointed to the Epson Stylus
Color 800 that can come with postscript and a network card
   (see http://www.epson.com)
I think I'll go for the latest Stylus 850.

Thanks!

Jean-Loup
