Oracle Web Server 3.0 via Firewall

Hi Managers

     We are currently setting up a Application Server which is outside the
firewall
     and we need to configure Sql*Net to go through the firewall.

    I am not having any success with the setup, it just times out.

    On the Client we have not made any changes to the TNSNAMES.ORA
    configuration file entries.

Has anyone configured this through Alta-Vista firewall 97?
