I have copied a directory-structure to another filesystem.
vdump -0f - -D /home | vrestore -xf - -D /home2/home
- /home is a mountpount with the quota.user and quota.group file.
- /home2/home is a directory in filesystem /home2.
I did this to bypass the restore of the quota-files.
After the copy, vrestore, restored the quota-files in /home2 instead of
/home2/home, thus overwriting the original quota-files.
The original /home had a limit of 614000 1k block, /home2 had no limit.
The size of /home2 was about 60GB.
df -k /home2, shows in the column"1024-blocks" the blocks from /home !
We run D.U 4.0B PK4.
showfsets: Quota Status : user=off group=off (for /home and /home2)
Q's:
- How can I change the quota-files to their original state ?
- Everything seems to work fine now in /home2, do I get a problem when I
umount and mount /home2 ?

Well, to tell you the truth, in all the excitement, I kind of lost track

one question: `Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"
