i installed du4.0b on an alphastation 200 4/166
i thought it was fine but i think i may have done something wrong
when i run nfssetup it keeps comming up with
rpc.statd: cannot get my ip address
i have local and hostname in /etc/hosts
telnet and ping wont work either
i have also run netsetup
nissetup
bindsetup (which i dont think i needed)
nfssetup
thanks to all who replied
i think the problem was that i ran netsetup in CDE and when it asked did i want to restart the network i said yes.
i then found in the release notes that you should not do this services while running a cde session
