Original query: Is there a 256MB limit for installing DEC Unix 4.0D on
an Alpha ?
The following replies make it clear that this doesn't exist !

>1.5 G of RAM on 4.0D. I think DIGITAL UNIX is on dependent on the memory.
The only limitation is hardware the number of slots and RAM density on
each RAM card.

I have 4gb of memory and have done both upgrade & installs of 4.0d
