FTP macro

hello managers,


i am trying to automate FTP filetransfers from unix using .netrc to a NT
FTP server on the local network and upload multiple files and recursive
directories from different places on the system.

can somebody help me with an example of the macro/macdef syntax?
i tried man netrc and ftp but i did not get much help from there.
