Audio device

I have three audio jacks on my AlphaStation 250 4/266. How can I use them?
I configured the msb0 device and the kernel detects it:

Apr 29 12:21:35 ebeta vmunix: msb0 at isa0

How can I use it (I made the device node, but cat >/dev/msb0 returnes No such
device) ?
