Ok, this seems to be the obvious answer and I should have been more
specific with my description. I know about pfconfig and have indeed been
using the command the way everyone has recommended in their replies. The
problem is still there. A standard pfconfig gives
#pfconfig +c +p ln0
#pfconfig
ln0: maximum backlog is 32; auto-promiscuous mode is enabled
auto-copyall mode is enabled
The man pages are rather easy to follow. This should not be hard to do.
There is something else preventing tcpdump from seeing all the traffic
hitting the card. Sure got me stumped.
Thanks for the quick feedback. Unfortunately, the problem is still
there...
Thanks,
Neil
