ruptime/rwho giving incomplete data?

After answering several questions, I figured I'd ask one... :^)

Simple question, not pressing issue...

Does anyone know why ruptime/rwho doesn't seem to report more than 37
users on a system? I've got over 100 users logged in, but only 37 are
displayed by rwho and ruptime only reports 37 as well...
