We are implementing Netscape's Enterprise Server 3.01 on DU 4.0b,
patchkit 6 on a Alphaserver 1000A 5/440 with 128MB RAM. We've
raised the kernel parameter vm-mapentries to 10000. The problem is
that some of the users feel the Alpha is slower than an SGI Challenge
M with 64MB RAM running Apache. Does anyone have some suggestions to
speed up the Netscape server? What should we be monitoring? tuning?
