Hello wizards,
I need to know how to configure sendmail so that reply addresses are
correct. Here is the situation:
The mail machine is called say "host.somesubnet.tased.edu.au" and also
accepts mail for "postoffice.tased.edu.au". It receives mail fine when
either form of address is used.
However when a user sends mail out it always has the reply address set
to "user_at_host.somesubnet.tased.edu.au" whereas I want it to be
"user_at_postoffice.tased.edu.au".
While this is not causing any delivery problems, some users are
complaining saying it's confusing.
Aside from changing the name of the actual machine, how can this be
fixed?
Jim
