The OSFRTDEV subset is no more needed for ORACLE RDBMS with DU 4.0b. It has
been included in OSFLIBAxxx (OSFLIBA410 - libm.a library )

OSFRTDEV350 is for some version of Digital Unix 3.2A/B/C/D/E/F/G. The Real
time stiff in the basic subsets in 4.0A/B/C/D and the realtime subsets have
been retired.

this subset is no longer shipped separately, but it's included within the
base operating system. The Oracle documentation is obsolete.

Hi,
as of Digital-UNIX V4.0B the RT libraries have been moved to the BaseOS
subsets (OSFBASE4xx) . It seems ORACLE for some reason is checking for the
existence of the OSFRTDEV subsets. You can " fake " these subsets by simply
creating to empty files called OSFDEVRT425.lk and OSFDEVRT425.ctrl (you can
use touch to creat them), this will make ORACLE believe the subsets are
installed.
ORACLE is mots likely trying to use librt which now can be found in
OSFBASE425.inv and should reside in /usr/ccs/lib/librt.a .

This subset is only needed when installing Oracle on V3.2x. It can be
safely ignored while installing on V4.0x. (All the functionality in this
optional subset has been moved into a mandatory subset in V4.0x)

Hi managers,
Once more I need your help after unsuccesfull searchs...I need to install
OSFRTDEV (OSFRTDEV350 I think) subset for DU 4.0b in the purpose of
installing ORACLE RDBMS 7.1.6.2 or 7.3.3. Each release reclaim this subset
in the installation guide, but I can't find it on my DU 4.0b distribution
cd's (Operating system, Associated Products 1 & 2)...So where should I look
for ???
