SUMMARY: V4.0D Patch Kit 1 Breaks Applying Individual Patches

Hopefully, I changed the subject line to indicate this is a
(possibly interim) summary.

Thanks to:

Susan Rodriguez <SUSROD_at_HBSI.COM>
Ronald D. Bowman <rdbowma_at_tsi.clemson.edu>

Suggestions included re-ftping the patches, checking
to see if they would zcat OK (they did), and similar.

Something in the setld process seems to be getting a
bit wacked, since all of the patches were applied once
before, but only when all the patches in the kit were
applied.

In my effort to limit a single (or related set) of patches
from being applied, something is getting lost in the mix.
My guess is dupatch is hosing the parameters being passed
to setld, so perhaps adding one patch at a time via setld
might work, if care were taken to check on dependencies
within the patch kit.

That will be my next approach, as reading the dupatch
script is taking more time than I have to spend on it.

Thanks again,
Michael
