I know that Networker 4.4 is known to be bad, but has anyone
run across this little problem, and if so, what's the fix:
If a tape fills up during backups (we have no jukebox; fairly
small network), frequently, when I go to unmount it and put
another one in, while it's waiting for a tape, the nsrmmd
process never lets go of the device, so it can't open the new
tape for a re-label. I have to shut down nsr and restart,
which of course aborts the backup.
This is the NSR that came with 4.0D; we have licenses to make
it more than SingleServer.
help?
Thanks.
