I recently moved from HP-UX to DEC UNIX (v 4.0B on new alpha's 4100). I am
looking
for a freeware utility that can display messages on an Xterm. In the past
I used to have a little script with:
export DISPLAY=Xterm1:0.0
Xmessage "MESSAGE-BODY" < X OPTIONS (color, font,...) >
The Xmessage program then displayed the message on the Xterm1
Does anybody know where I can find such thing?
