fortran v4.0 on digital v4.0d failed

Hi managers,

after installing DEC FORTRAN V4.0 on DU v4.0D I typed
setld -v PSESHPF107
(PSESHPF107 is the High Performance Fortran Scalar Libraries)
And I obtained the following answer:
Failed to link /tmp/hpfstlivp.o with /usr/lib/libshpf.a static library.
 I looked at in /var/adm/smlogs/fverify.log,
but I didn't find any error message.

Would anybody have some clue for giving me?
