iostat & HSZ statistics

I have 7 HSZ40 "units" associated with each of the 4 scsi busses on the
HSZ40.

rza82 rzb82 .. .. .. rzg82

The HSZ's are set up in dual-redundant mode, with each having 2 busses
as primary. Since SAR is inaccurate in it's reporting of disk
information, how can I interpret the iostat to see where (if) a
bottleneck exists?
The HSZ40 feeds into 6 BA356 shelves. My units are stripe sets composed
mostly of two 4.3GB drives set up as a stripe container in HSZ, on
different busses.
1. Can I assume about 8.5MB/s on each "logical" bus (1,2,3 & 4) as max
data rate?
-I know the max rate of the HSZ40 is 15MB/s overall

2. How many tps (transactions per second) total for each bus is a max?
-I know the max Request rate of HSZ40 is 4500rps
3. How can I interpret iostat info to see if IO is bottlenecked?

Thanks
