bootp problem on decserver tl

Hello gurus,

I have a du 4.0d server that I need to serve some decserver TL's.
We are retiring an old Ultrix box which had been serving them with mop
until now. Unfortunately I cannot locate the manuals on these servers.

Here is the settings as they are set in my inetd.conf
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/tftpd tftpd -d /var/decserver
bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/bootpd bootpd -d 4

Here is my entry from bootptab
ynglab:ht=ethernet:ha=08002ba38a79:ip=172.16.19.100:hd=/var/decserver/images:bf=mneng1.sys

The image file mneng1.sys is sitting in /var/decservers/images

This message is repeated in my daemon.log at intervals that match the
decserver requests:
Jun 26 13:49:01 lc bootpd[17783]: recvd pkt from IP addr 199.217.200.10
Jun 26 13:49:01 lc bootpd[17783]: bootptab mtime: Fri Jun 26 13:26:52 1998
Jun 26 13:49:01 lc bootpd[17783]: request from IP addr 199.217.200.10
Jun 26 13:49:01 lc bootpd[17783]: IP address not found: 199.217.200.10

This IP is from a block we use for outside of the firewall. How it became
associated with this decserver I am not sure, unless it is set on the
hardware somewhere. (wishing I had that manual)

This is the /etc/hosts entry for this decserver:
172.16.19.100 ynglab

When I plug a terminal into port 1, I can see the messages regarding it's
requests for mop, bootp, etc. Is there an interactive mode available on
that port to check internal settings? Nothing I tried seemed to work.

Is there anything wrong with my syntax or settings?
I even tried the sm=255.255.0.0 without any luck. My DU machine is on
172.16.1.3, and I didn't know for sure if the subnet mask was necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, will summarize.
