The consensus it that the HP4000N printer should work fine with
DU. I received the following printcap for a HP4SI or HP5SI:

:rp=text:
and this from Chad Price:
Fill in the blanks on the GUI printer setup and set the printer to do an
automatic carriage return after line feed from the printer console menus.
Without the <CR> after <LF>, it will print text falling off the right side
of the page. Graphics will print OK anyway, as will postscript.
