Most everyone said that they had experienced the same problems with
different qpopper versions. On monday I moved to ipop3d, which seemed to
work better. Unfortunatly we have a system where sometimes people use pop
clients and sometimes they use mh/pine. Ipop3d inserts a "control"
message at the top of all mail folders, which is then incorporated with
mh/pine, but not pop clients. So last night I had to explain to 10,000
people why they got a message of "Do NOT delete this message" from our
servers. Ipop also appears to have a memory leak that crashes our system
after about 2 hours of heavy use.

I am now trying to compile other pop servers to test them (very little
luck, ideas on different servers?).
