GNQS CPU time accounting (qacct).

Hello all,

I am configuring GNQS 3.50.4 to run on an AlphaStation 255 (64MB)
with DU 4.0B. Trying to make use of the CPU time accounting reported by
the <qacct> command I see some strange numbers from it which I dont know
how to handle. For example:

The CPU time reported by the <time> command for one job is

        real 1m21.26s
        user 0m40.08s
        sys 0m0.15s

        and <qacct -f> reports 2452 units.

For all the tests I have made there seems to be a 'correction factor' of 60
more or less between these two numbers but it is not a constant factor.

My questions are :
What units GNQS uses for CPU time ?
Does this 'correction factor' have any meaning ?
How should I look to GNQS CPU time accounting numbers ?
How should I compare GNQS numbers with 'system' numbers ?

        Thanks in advance.

        Marcos Casarrubios.
