Hello all,
I am trying to get ssh to work with wrappers on a DEC Alpha running
Digital Unix 4.0b. My original config line was:
"./configure --with-rsaref --with-des --with-libwrap"
but apparently the wrapper libraries were not included. I edited
config.h, added define lines for LIBWRAP and HAVE_LIBWRAP and recompiled,
but now connections fail with:
"Bad remote protocol version identification: '' "
When I do a strings on the original sshd, I don't see /etc/hosts.allow,
but I do see it in the 2nd compile. Has anybody gotten this to work?
Or is my hosts.allow just all messed up. Does anyone have a working
ssh and hosts.allow for DU? What daemon should I list in hosts.allow?
