Hello Everyone
I am trying to setup a print queue under DUNIX 4.0b using
LPD to an Emulex Printserver (Netque2 Pro) with a
dot-matrix printer attatched. Printing using LPD under
Microsoft NT Server works fine.
Problem:
When I type lpc stat I get the following :-
isshp4:
printer is on remote host isshp4 with name text
queuing is enabled
printing is enabled
1 entry in spool area
Tue Jul 7 10:51:10 1998: waiting for queue to be
enabled on isshp4
My printcap entry looks like this
# ISS HP4M Helpdesk Laser Printer
isshp4|lp0|0|isshp4:\
:lf=/usr/adm/lp0err:\
:lp=:\
:rm=isshp4:\
:rp=text:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd0:
The anonying thing is that I have set these print servers
up in the past and they do work. I do not know if this is a
Unix problem or an Emulex problem ?
If anybody has any suggestions or help then I would
appreciate it
