DEC Tech Supt never heard about this one. Maybe someone here did.
I open my dtterms via the CDE control bar at the bottom of the screen.
Normally, soon after I make them longer by pulling the upper or lower
border, the windows remaining the dflt width, but being able to display
now between 60 and 70 lines with the font size I use. In a non-
reproducible fashion, every so often one of these windows disappears
when scrolling through an amount of text exceeding a couple of pages.
I can not reproduce it (for example, cat'ing a long - 125K lines - text
file on a freshly opened window works OK), but it is a very annoying
behavior: today one of these windows committed suicide while paging
through a mail message that was about 300 lines long...).
Tech Suppt. suggested opening AppManager:Desktop_Tools:WatchErrors. But
nothing was logged there, nor in any other of the log files that I know
about, when this last event occurred.
Any suggestions?
Enrique
