Original question:

The answers I got were basically: yes, no and maybe.

Some said it would work as is, others no you'll have to reload Oracle, no
you'll have to relink the Oracle kernel and maybe it will maybe it won't.

I talked with the folks at Oracle and they said it should work and all
I'd have to do is relink the Oracle kernel. They were running DU 4.0d and
and older version of Oracle that we were and it was working fine.

Over the weekend I upgraded to 4.0d, that is a saga in itself, relinked
the kernel and everything is working fine.

Thanks to all for their help.
