SUMMARY ..remote vdump

     Hello all,
     
First! Thanks to all who repolied... too many mention the names

The answer is:

1. create .rhosts file on both client and server systems
    just for a security purposes..., then remove after backup completed.

2. vdump -0uvf /usr | rsh remote_system dd of=/dev/nrmt0h bs=60k

     hello all,
     
     Is anyone know the command how to do a backup and restore files
     system on the remote tape drive using vdump & vrestore? I want
     to backup and restore the AdvFS files system from the remote tape
     drives...
