Hello managers,
(my users and) I have problems with creating personal CDE-backdrops...
Following the docs we have been able at least to create personal
backdrops at all. But there are several problems:
-> We can only create "bm"s. All our "pm"-tries have been ignored
by the WorkspaceManager until now.
-> And our "bm"s appear as "negatives" of the original pics instead
of "positives"...
-> Another question: the number of colors a backdrop can have, is it
declared by the number of colors i give to CDE? So, is not possible
to have multi-color backdrops?
What we did: start with a gif or jpg picture, convert it with "xv" to
xbm, giving it a file.extension "bm" and restart the WorkspaceManager...
We have DU-4.0B plus PatchKit 7.
Any ideas, hints?
