Hello.

The answer came from Digital. It is not a bug.

man loader explain why:

Hello.

I have dicoverd a problem with newgrp on DECUNIX (4.0B and 4.0D):
after running 'newgrp <a_group_name>' the LD_LIBRARY_PATH shell
variable will disappear.

Example:

diarra<129> echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/import/cern/root/pro/root/lib:/import/divers/lib:/usr/shlib
diarra_at_<101> echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH: Undefined variable.

The problem does not depend on the shell used (I tried with
sh, csh, bash and tcsh).

Could you help me please ?

Thanks in advance.

Christophe.
