I got responses from:
Donald Bovee
Nathan Grass

I never did figure out why it thought I had GDBM so I went into the programs
that were looking for it and faked it to look for NDBM instead which I have.

Original question.
I am trying to compile qpopper 2.52. When it compiles it complains about
gdbm.h
not existing in incluse which it doesn't. I can change the program
pop_user.c to look for ndbm.h and popper will compile and build. However,
when I try to
build popauth there are several instances of looking for GDBM and I can't get
around those as gracefully. Why does the compiler think GDBM exists or
whatever it is when it doesn't?
