Dear Alpha CDE Gurus,
I am having a problem changing the message on the CDE login banner.
The default banners use the word Welcome - inviting a hack!
I want to change the login banner to show : No Unauthorised Users
and the password banner to : Enter Your Password.
Reading the man pages, I have copied Xresources from /usr/dt/config/C to
/etc/dt/config/C and have modified the entries as follows:
Dtlogin*greeting*labelString: No Unauthorised Users
Dtlogin*greeting*persLabelString: Enter Your Password
Saved the file and restarted the CDE session.
It didn't work
Can anyone out there help me:
