SUMMARY--ADVFS possible File Corruption

Thanks to the following people who responded to my question.

Dr. Tom Blinn
Joel Gallun
Mandell Degerness
J. Dean Brock

Many of you suggested that I might have a corrupt disk in the
u_domain. I had already checked the dia log for any signs of this prior
to sending the question. I am sorry I forgot to include this
information in my original question. Several people suggested running
advscan-- I had already attempted this also without any results. Since
I am working on a workstation and not a production server, I have opted to
take Joel's suggestion and try the salvage command. I spoke with digital
and they sent me the executable that can be used with 4.0B. We have two
production servers running advfs and I think this will be a good test to see
if
the command is viable before using it in a production environment. If this
fails
I will resort to the backup and rebuild the file domains.

Thanks again for all of the great information,

Lisa
