Basically, I've been busy loading all kinds of toys, er tools on DU and wanted
to get the manpages in /usr/local/man working. BTW, you've GOTTA check out
xdiff available for most unixes including osf at
http://reality.sgi.com/rudy_aw/xdiff/index.html
I was thinking there may be a more elegant way to set MANPATH (HP and AIX
have files for these) but DU just has you set them on the system level in
/etc/profile and /etc/csh.login depending on your shell
