Hello,

I look at the alpha-osf-managers summaries for

        Reading DOS floppy disk

and see solution by mcopy and mread, but when I check it by

        /usr/bin/mtools/mcopy a_file a:
I get:
init: open "/dev/fddrive": No such file or directory

and the same with

        /usr/bin/mtools/mread A:\source destination
init: open "/dev/fddrive": No such file or directory

Otherwise newfs -S 512 /dev/fd0c and mount /dev/fl0c /floppy
work and permit writing, but the floppy can't be read then on PC.

Could have help ?

Thanks in advance,
Jean-Pol Guillement
