Hi all,

This old chestnut of user mounting CD and floppy recurrs all
too often, which is not surprising, as it is a tad of an
oversight with DU. So...

Can I have a volume daemon please, like the one used by Solaris?

For those unfamiliar with this type of thing, vold manages
removable media mounting and unmounting. Media sensing triggers
volume changes with for example, floppies mounting under
/floppy/floppy_number with the floppy_number being managed
by vold. I think that you can guess the rest. No more mtools,
no more worries over security, no more disappointed users
holding shiny disks :-)
