NetRAIN on DU4.0E

Hi managers,

I have a problem configuring the NetRAIN virtual interface and
would like to know if anybody else has crossed this road.

I'm in single user mode, tu0 and tu1 are ifconfig(ed) down,
and have a copy of ifconfig(8) in front of me! Example #6 gives instructions

on how to create a NetRAIN set. When trying to do the same,
I get the following error:

# ifconfig nr1 add tu0, tu1
ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCIFADD): device busy

tu0 and tu1 exist, off course! On the other hand nr1 does not, and I don't
think
that the above command is supposed to do that, as to my understanding it
just
combines tu0 and tu1 as one called nr1.

Question is: how do I create this virtual interface (nrx)?

Thanks in advance.

PS. I've checked with the online manuals without success (so far).
