Thanks to Bryan Lavelle, Dr. Tom Blinn, Vipin Gokhale, and
John Speno for replys. The concensus is that the 5.0 will be
upgradeable (with installupdate) from 4.0D or 4.0F. However,
the definitive answer will be in the release notes at final
release.

Tom points out that there will be features retired in 5.0,
so careful planning is in order. Again, the final release notes
will have exact details (in other words, wait for 5.0 to be
released to find out what will or won't be gone). There are
some details in the 4.0D (and later) release notes.

Looks like I'll cool my jets a bit, get everyone to 4.0D (at
least) for y2k, then examine, and test 5.0 later.
