Hi,

I sent the rather cryptic message:

>how do you set a single user password under Digital UNIX?

What I really wanted to know is how can you ensure a password must be given
(hopefully, root's password) before access to the console is given.

The answers were many and varied, perhaps because of the lack of clarity,
but the most promising was from Spider Boardman, who said:

        # rcmgr set SECURE_CONSOLE 1

        See `man 8 sulogin'.
