After a catastrophic downtime, we're finally getting DECevent analysis and
(more importantly) notification up. I'm finding the docs to be something less
that straightforward and concise, and am wondering if anyone might share
their config options or point me to something that would simplify figuring
out what it is doing at this point? I've installed DIA 2.9, done diasetup
and loaded licenses, started the SICL piece, and added usernames to the
notification groups. I've also tested the email notification. At this point,
what I want to know is:
* what will this package do by default, with no other customization?
- will it shut anything down? (ACK!)
- what is it monitoring?
- what will trigger a notification?
* Why, when I issue commands such as "dia shw thr" do I get the error:
Another instance of analysis is running
_DIAGNOSE-FAT: Execution failed
and no results?
* Where is the customer profile that was mentioned by SICL setup
supposed to go?
