who confirmed my suspicion.
The consensus is, as I somehow expected, that the dynamic libs are already
there, hidden in other files.
We tried before asking to remove the references to libdl.{a,so} in the
makefiles, without any luck until now. Probably we've overlooked some of'em.
We'll try again.
