How to set thresholds in DECevent?

I posted some questions about DECevent last week, got little response,
several "me too's". Are folks not running the licensed notification
portion, generally?

At any rate, another question. I'm trying to set thresholds so I, the
customer, receives notification on errors. I stop dia:

/sbin/rc2.d/K*dia stop

look at the thresholds:

dia shw thr

and then try to set them:

dia set thr -n RZ_DISK -s hard -c 1
(for instance)

I can't set any of them this way! I always get an error like:

_DIAGNOSE-FAT: Device RZ_DISK does not exist

Anyone know how to set the thresholds? I want it so:

the "-- Hard --" "Cus" entry has a 1 in it in all appropriate cases, at least,
so I receive email when hard errors occur.
