Throttle setting for rdump?

Is there some type of "throttle" setting for rdump in OSF1? I do rdumps all
the time on Solaris machines and it goes nice a quick. When I do an rdump
from one of my DEC machines to another, it goes very very SLOOOOWW. Its
like around 16 times slower than my Solaris machines on the same size
drive. Same network too(100megFD switched, all machines). It only does this
on an rdump, dump is just fine. Just wondering if there is some old
holdover timing setting to restrict the speed of a dump as to not overflow
a network or something.
The rdump command I am using is this.

/usr/sbin/rdump 0cdf 61000 ${TAPEHOST}:$DEVICE /usr

Any ideas? I know for a fact that its not too much traffic on the network,
neither machines are very highly used right now, and they are both on a
switch and are running at 100megFD.
