Tru64-Unix Managers,
I found some helpful summaries in the archives, so I hope it's okay to ask
this here. I've had a rough time at building sendmail 8.9.3 on Digital Unix
4.0d, but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I've got sendmail 8.9.3 running, and I am able to make the virtusertable
with the following:
# makemap hash /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable
This creates an /etc/virtusertable.db file. In my /etc/sendmail.cf file, I
have this:
Kvirtuser hash -o /etc/virtusertable
When I restart sendmail, however, I still get messages regarding my
/etc/aliases file, and entries I place in /etc/virtusertable are ignored.
How do I make sendmail use the /etc/virtusertable file instead of /etc/aliases?
Thanks,
Chris
