help compiling xanim 2.80.1

I'm having a problem compiling the new version of 'xanim' (2.80.1) on my DPW 500au (4.0d).

The compile dies when compiling 'xa_audio.c' with the following error:

cc -O2 -std1 -I/usr/include/X11 -I. -I/usr/include -DLONG_BIT=64
-DNO_MESSAGE_CATALOG -DXSHM -DXA_IV32 -DXA_CVID -DXA_CYUV -DXA_DLL_PATH=\"\"
-DXA_ZLIB -DXA_GSM -DXA_MMS_AUDIO -DMMS_VOL -DXA_PETUNIA -DXA_KPCD -c xa_audio.c -o
xa_audio.o
cc: Severe: xa_audio.h, line 71: Cannot find file <mme/mme_api.h> specified in #include
directive.
#include <mme/mme_api.h>
-^
make: *** [xa_audio.o] Error 1

I understand that the message says it can't find the file "mme/mme_api.h" to include.
This file doesn't exist anywhere on the system. I don't know where it is supposed to
come from. I have all the MME242 subsets installed as well as all the programming
subsets but there doesn't appear to be any "MME Programming" subset available.

Has anyone successfully compiled 'xanim 2.80.1' with audio support turned on?

Anyone know where I can find 'mme_api.h'?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
